Our Story

For many years we recognized that many builders weren’t meeting the customer’s expectations and didn’t deliver the experience homeowners deserve. We saw clients getting ripped off, not getting what they paid for, and ultimately receiving inferior service. Homeowners were planning life events around builder-provided move-in dates, and frequently cost overruns or the risk of overruns kept clients up at night.

Breven Homes, founded in 2021, decided it was time to change this and become a premier design-build company in the Texas Hill Country. We jumped into the custom home-building world amid a global pandemic, much uncertainty, turmoil in the market, and significant supply chain challenges.

Our first homeowner saw our determination and passion to be that homebuilder that was different, that stood out, and that genuinely wanted to make the experience something they would remember for a lifetime. We learned a lot along the way and are forever grateful for them. They continue to stay in touch with us today and talk about how much they love their home.

Our goal is to make every homeowner enjoy the same experience and feeling long after they’ve move in and made the home their own.

We will build your home on your lot within the originally agreed upon budget and scope*. We accomplish this by using fixed price contracts.

On Time

We will build your home on your lot within the originally agreed upon timeline and scope*. If not, we will reimburse the client $250/day that the project exceeds the agreed upon move in date.

Professionally, I’m dedicated to my wonderful clients. I’m a full time realtor and custom home builder for Breven Homes. I have 4+ years of experience in the new home building industry.

As a graduate of the University of Texas (Hook’em Horns!), I hold honor and integrity to a very high standard. When I’m not geared to better my professional brand, I enjoy golfing with family and friends, hanging out on the lake, exercising, and traveling to new places. Meet The Team
CFO, COO & Co-founder

Bryan, the older brother, has always had a passion for building things and learning how things work. Like Steven, he has been around construction since a very young age thanks to their father.

Bryan got his electrical engineering degree from the University of Texas. He landed a job in the corporate world but always had some tie to residential construction. Bryan went on to complete his MBA at Texas State in 2015. He has worked in all the roles including construction so he understands all aspects of the business. Bryan has a knack for creating operational efficiencies and improving the sales and building process to ensure our clients expectations are exceeded every single time.

Mike

Meet The Team
Construction Manager

Mike has been heavily involved in the homebuilding industry for 31 years. He spent 19 of those years building new homes all throughout Texas. Now he’s actively pursuing his passion and giving back to this industry that has given him so much by teaching.

Mike has been teaching all aspects of home construction for the past 12 years at the high school and college levels. Over the last 9 years, Mike has spent his evenings and summers conducting new home inspections.
